I am interested in UFOs or as they’re known lately as UAPs. I don’t know what exactly is going on with them, but it seems like these things have existed for a long time. I think there is something to it, but what exactly that is, I don’t know. It’s the type of thing I’m interested in though.
This is a topic where you have to sift through a lot of stuff that just is not true. It can be difficult at times to tell what information is credible and what isn’t. Most of what is claimed is probably not true or is easily explainable as something mundane. I think at the same time though, some of it is very interesting and difficult to explain away. I think there is something to some of this phenomena. I don’t necessarily believe everything I post 100%. I may believe in some of it at least partially or maybe I’m just not sure whether I believe it or not but I think it is interesting and so I post it.
My interest is kind of a hobby. I enjoy the mystery of it and the possibility of it. With trillions of star systems in the observable universe and with the number that are statistically likely to have habitable planets, I just think we’re not the only intelligent life around. Also, our understanding of the universe is very limited. We’ve only had solid math and science for a relatively short period of history. I think there are likely types of technologies which we can’t even imagine yet which may have been discovered by other intelligence civilizations in the universe if they exist.
Also, when people talk about the Fermi Paradox… I think that it could be that the reason we aren’t hearing radio signals, is because maybe advanced civilizations out there just don’t use radio anymore because they use something better which we don’t understand that well yet. It might be a little like listening for telegraph signals or something but nobody uses a telegraph anymore because we have much more advanced and better communication methods.
